peter clough - collagraph
|
Peter is inspired by the landscape of the Yorkshire Dales. Richly textured collagraph prints portray the relationships between earth and sky, changing weather, textures and colours of moorland and valley.

"For the last 23 years I have lived in Harrogate on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales. The landscape references vary from piece to piece, and the ideas and responses are mostly remembered and intuitive from situations seen or felt. I like the element of surprise working in this way.
Each print is unique, an original Artists Proof, with no editions. I try to keep the whole creative process as open ended as possible, allowing intuition, imagination and experience to determine the final result".
